IMPORTANT NOTE: These Faceplate Inserts are NOT
to be used on US certificated aircraft without the
proper FAA paperwork. Consult with your avionics shop or
FAA inspector if
FAA form 337 and/or log book entries are needed.
We are in the process of
getting FAA PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) status for many of our
faceplates listed
below, however, the
FAA
has asked (requested) us to do burn tests for these faceplates.
My DER says we don't have to because the original
manufactures didn't have burn tests done to get
certified, so ----- don't hold your breath on us
receiving PMA status any time soon.
Note: We decided to list all
the faceplates and lens that we make even though they may not have
installation
directions. Most faceplates are sold world wide and to
avionics shops who are familiar with disassembling and
re-assembling these units.
