Have this insert installed by an avionics shop if you do
not have all the proper tools, are not a qualified
technician or are not sure you are capable of doing this
job. |

DO NOT remove the faceplate
from the radio unless you are a fully qualified avionics
repair person. |

Remove the knobs and four
screws that hold the faceplate on. The faceplate does not
have to be pulled off. |
| 4. |
Double check for the proper
fit and alignment of the new faceplate. |
| 5. |
The lower portion of the faceplate steps inward about
.010". Remove the double face tape backing from
the thin riser piece included with the faceplate insert. |
| 6. |
Carefully attach the small riser piece. |
| 7. |
Remove the double face tape backing of the remaining
faceplate insert. |
| 8. |
Attach the remaining piece of the T-12D faceplate
insert. |
| 9. |
Reinstall the screws and knobs onto the faceplate. |
| 10. |
If needed attach the knob inserts that are included. |
