NOTE: This face plate comes in 3 different styles, check to make sure of the correct style before ordering.

NARCO DME 190 TSO (Style #1)- Faceplate inserts (Price $33.75)

Material - .032" Matte black / white text, 4 pieces. Backed with double faced tape for easy installation.

NARCO DME 190 TSO (Style #2)- Faceplate insert (Price $22.50)

Material - .032" Matte black / white text, 1 piece. Backed with double faced tape for easy installation.

NARCO DME 190 TSO (Style #3)- Faceplate inserts (Price $28.50)

Material - .032" Matte black / white text, 2 pieces. Backed with double faced tape for easy installation.

Before you begin: Check to see if you received the proper faceplate insert. Are the numbers the same as your radio? Does it have the correct number of pieces? Does it fit correctly? Although the holes and text will be the same, many faceplate manufacturers made different widths or heights of the same faceplate. (Just to make life a little more interesting)

1.	Have this insert installed by an avionics shop if you do not have all the proper tools, are not a qualified technician or are not sure you are capable of doing this job.
2.	DO NOT remove the faceplate from the radio unless you are a fully qualified avionics repair person. You have been for-warned. Otherwise, go to #8.
3.	Remove knobs.
4.	Tape up the two glass areas, the knob shafts and the R-NAV light to protect them from painting. Also tape around the metal case to protect it from any paint over spray.
5.	Fill any dents with a plastic filler or similar material.
6.	Lightly sand with a fine grit sandpaper for good paint adhesion. Wire brush the knobs as needed.
7.	Paint the faceplate and knobs as needed with a quality paint such as Krylon's® 1613 Semi-Flat Black paint.
8.	Remove the protective tape.
9.	Remove the original decal inserts if your style has them.
10.	Remove the double face tape backing from the new insert.
11.	Place the new inserts onto the faceplate. Reinstall the knobs onto the radio.
12.	Tell all your aircraft buddies about Aircraft Engravers and place the enclosed sticker on the metal case for future reference.
